If you are interested in trying out rowing, we would be delighted to introduce you to a hugely enjoyable sport that boys and girls compete in equally.
We are continuously taking new members, contact the membership secretary Barry Crowley by clicking on the Contact Us
Training & Equipment
For beginners, water training takes place on Sunday mornings from 11 to 12.30 and land training on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7.30 p.m. (water training from March). The Club supplies all equipment. You just need to wear normal training gear (lots of thin layers for cold weather, and a hat).
Membership
Every prospective new member goes through an initial trial period of approximately 3-4 weeks where you get to try out the sport to see if you like it. After that, you may be invited to become a member.
Membership fees:
€100 joining fee and an annual membership of €420, which can be paid monthly by direct debit. In addition, each junior athlete pays €25, and Senior U23 and Masters rowers pay €55 a year for affiliation to Rowing Ireland.
